I used to fly private fairly often and there are lots of times when you still fly commercial because of logistical issues with the pilot, plane, etc. They need a part, your pilot has too many hours, weather stuff... you can also charter out private plane and then have an unexpected trip where you decide to fly and your plane is somewhere else.
