You can access parler and gab on a website. you dont NEED to download an app

I hate apps that are effectively the same thing as a website.

The browser works very well, has been designed for this for decades now.

The fact that apps may have more features, is more of developers being lazy. Websites are perfectly capable.

Its the developers catering to a base that likes using bespoke apps. Nothing more. Its hardly lazy to port a webapp to ios

It's why Windows went from an operating system to basically a phone on more complex hardware. I fucking hate "streamlined" anything.
