Revelations 4:8 -
Each of the four living creatures had six wings and was covered with eyes all around, even under its wings. Day and night THEY NEVER STOP SAYING:
“ ‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty,’ who was, and is, and is to come.”
Shouldn’t God be telling them to knock off all that vain repetition?
Very fair point. I think where we would end up disagreeing would be difference in semantics of praying to / praising the Lord. As well as in Matthew, Jesus is teaching men how to pray, differing from the beasts in Revelation, who were seemingly created with the singular purpose of praising God in that manner. Anyway, again, fair point backed up with scripture.
Thanks. God bless!
