Well we already have military intelligence. Maybe "space force" just specializes in "satellite in the middle " attacks on the "lines"? That would be specialized enough to warrant a new brach i would think. Flying satellites around is kind of delicate work, particularly to intercept the stream and block it but not hit the target vehicle.
