Noticed a couple of interesting things. Aside from ANG being activated nearly everywhere, and the expected fighters, tankers, and blackhawks being up, two aircraft in particular stood out to me...
Around 4:25 a US DOD C-37 (used for airlift missions for high ranking govt and Dept of Defense officials) took off from Andrews AFB. Callsign SAM513 This is basically the military equivalent of a Gulfstream G5 private jet. Landed just after 7pm at a small municipal airport Mesquite Tx of all places. Random.
As the DOD bird was making its way to Mesquite, over in West Texas north of San Angelo was a Boeing E3C callsign SNTRY60 circling ALOT. Specifically over EV Spence Reservoir just west of the town of Robert Lee. For those not familiar the E3 is an airborne warning and control system or AWACS a/c. Big deal. I watched this plane until it finally headed back to Tinker AFB in OK.
I feel like big moves are happening. Something in TX for sure.
I've been watching some forum chatter saying that practically all transponders for military aircrafts in US airspace got turned off yesterday (EU time). If you're a skyguy, hows it looking now?
Yesterday was hot as Hades. Today is different. Lots of sniffer helos (Albuquerque in particular) lots of refuelers. ANG spotters. All fighters appear to be dark.
Last night after midnight either every transponder was turned off or all the birds were on the ground. Maybe 4 planes in the air at that time.
Yeah, I am particularly interested in the refuelers hanging out way out over the sea to the east. Someone speculated that it would fit the bill for fighters patrolling the coast for private jets escaping.
What is a sniffer helo? I searched a bit and came up with specialized helos for detecting people on the ground and in hiding, or NBC sniffers.
So check out the UH-72 helicopters. “Sniffers” can detect radioactive/biological warfare type stuff. Rumors have been rampant that DS has been threatening DJT with dirty bombs if he doesn’t officially concede immediately. Sounds crazy until you see they are in fact up in real time scanning major cities.
