They feed on energy, but it's the lower frequencies: fear, rage, stress, guilt, shame, etc. Hence the love of adrenochrome. That's why it is so important for us to stay in a state of grace as much as possible even though we want to rage against all the evil, and the willfully blind. We must pity them instead, for those who have done evil have lost their souls, and those who buried their heads in the sands and failed to stand up and use their eyes to see the truth and fight against it will suffer in shame and guilt themselves.

The whole planet is undergoing a massive shift in frequency/consciousness, which is part of why all of this is happening now. All the evil is being brought into the light. So we have to keep the frequency of the planet in the higher realms. We are birthing into a new existence. First comes the pain and struggle, the contractions, but in the end we have a beautiful new being born of love. Maybe not explaining it well, but you can research more if you are interested.
