The drop def relates soecifically to CONUS with comm blackout, but I'm unsure if people are tying it to the blackout in Paki or the suspected one in Vatican City. I haven't seen those connections made in the 12,000 posts about it.

If those areas went dark, it's likely a seizure op, or an arrest at the Vatican. For Pak, though, I'm not sure why they need to black out an entire country to seize servers, if that's what went down.
