Hi all. I saw a post earlier today (well, technically, yesterday now) asking about email services, and a discussion re: secure phones, et cetera. I couldn't respond sooner, but I hope this helps. Re: email: I've been using cTemplar for over a year. Thus far, no problems. It offers end to end encryption, a dead man's switch, an expiring timer, and so on. They also have a free version which has many of the paid features. One reason I chose it because the servers were housed outside of Patriot Act jurisdiction. Moreover, I was always suspicious of Proton because although the untouchables can get away with using it if something were outed– we can't. Just my two cents.
Regarding phones, I recommend a Librem 5 (fair warning, they are pricey). They also have secure laptops (if a laptop could ever be secur <wink>).
Hope this is helpful.
Thank you!
