Yep. Camera trick or something equally stupid appears to the official shill line. They are all over this story and that makes me think there is something to it. The only attack when you are over the target.

I was watching the live stream during that period. I watched as the lights came back on. Within a few minutes I heard church bells. I checked the time, it was 2:00am ATL which is 7:00am in Rome. I thought it was just to ring in the top of the hour, but then it continued to ring until 23 past the hour. So they rang continuously for 23 minutes.
I've researched and, admittedly, found limited information on the schedules and practices of the bells. But it appears to be limited to 3 holidays, the death or election of Popes, and emergencies.

Also, a note about those who claim it was a dimming of the camera itself, a brown out condition could potentially cause the dimming of the camera but I would expect graininess. There was none on the feed I watched. And none of this accounts for the 23 minutes of continuous bell ringing.
I look forward to more good information on why these bells would continuously ring for 23 minutes.
