Wow. Surprised no one has mentioned this before. HUGE DATE. "Julius Caesar's crossing the Rubicon river on January 10, 49 BC precipitated the Roman Civil War, which ultimately led to Caesar's becoming dictator and the rise of the imperial era of Rome." The Jan 10 crossing was a declaration of war. I like the way this is shaping up. Today could really be the day the war begins.
