We were getting a few calls but now nothing until...the 20th we should hear from him and he graduates on the 21st....for his job they dont want him to have any delays in graduating

They’ve been doing that for a long time. SF and MARSOC have to learn multiple languages as well. The language you learn will determine where you are stationed and what unit you are assigned to
Urdu and Farsi are big too
Very few get the opportunity to learn Chinese cause it is one of the hardest languages to learn. So that just means he scored very well when they tested him on his ability to learn other languages.

My son a former MARSOC guy is a linguist. The length of time sounds about right.
Is he up in great lakes? My son graduated boot camp a couple of months ago and they've not shipped him to A-school yet because of overcrowding.
