I was driving home just now and heard two songs that made me think of that line..

"They think you will follow the stars."

First, Mr. Jones by Counting Crows. A whole song about how desperately this guy wants to be famous. And how "we all just wanna be big stars." And how he dreams of people idolizing him.

Eminem - Lose Yourself. "As we move toward a, New World Order, a normal life is boring, but superstardom's almost post-mortem."
