I work in Western Washington but my bug out location is in Eastern Washington, I work until Tuesday.
Like would the blackout be so bad I can't drive my car? I have my BOB and other essentials on me at all times. My current plan is that if the blackout happens I am hitting the road immediately.
Well.. yesterday evening the the power was knocked out here outside of Los Angeles for a solid 30 minutes, coinciding with the other outages WW. Gave us a bit of a startle into prep mode but came back on - we're ready if it goes out again.
Power went out today in Austin TX. It's snowing, but not storming. So shouldn't lose power. (And no, I don't live in that blue mess! I'm a ways out but heard from a friend.)
