they tried with JFK and he was killed. I believe it was attempted with Reagan and They tried to kill him. This has been in the works for decades.

I bet watching the video evidence would be a better start than reading. Just type "JKS's death" in the search bar. I have seen some real good documentaries on the assassination. I only saw one which had pictures of the dead body showing where they stitched together the front of the head shot. I can't remember what it was, but it was the last one I saw that convinced me.
