I know starting a credit card company can't be easy or cheap, but is there not someone out there or a group of dedicated patriots with enough money to start their own cc company?

A better goal would be to be your own banker.... You would of course need to have a healthy stash.

Whose got money laying around to buy whatever we want whenever we want. The irony is our economy would crater without credit cards and we’ve sold our soul and country to them. Credit cards can ruin your life base purely on a credit score. Amazingly pathetic we’ve let that happen. And what former senator/Vp benefitted BIGLY from credit companies?
