Ugh so everyone I know is freaking out because Facebook is being swamped with "martial law starts at midnight posts"... Getting texts asking "how do i prepare???!!" And "3 months of no power!???!!"... As well as the prepped groups on their talking about it... Can we get a sticky megathread for new people? If my phone is blowing up with people I have talked to in years,then it's crazy....also I've sent them all here.so enjoy :)

Yes. It was out here earlier like 10 different “my sources tell” me folk, were saying insurrection act was already signed. Just needed to make an announcement which was supposed to happen via the emergency broadcast system tonight or tomorrow, Monday.
But it’s all rumors and no real sources to back it up that I am aware of.
I don't have Facebook. But multiple groups my wife is in. And about 20 friends and family have texted and their freaking out. I'm not predicting. I'm saying be ready for people freaking out over rumors.
