MSM does not have the power to stop it. I don’t know about apple but they might. But it will be on every tv screen hooked up to cable or any broadcast, and probably played on every radio station too. It will be hard to miss.
It's a felony to block emergency broadcasts, but they will try. Iphone has the option of alerts on/off. Good idea to check regularly that any update hasn't turned yours off without your knowledge. My son checked his tonight and it was off, but the other 2 alerts were on. (amber & public safety).
I myself never got the test run broadcast when they did it a couple of years ago. I don't get cell service or a tv signal where I live, and it also failed to appear on my computer.
I thank you for the comments, but if Apple is "updating" everyone's phones and the whole scare with that, don't you think the MSM will try to do something similar with the backing of the DS?
The MSM literally does not have the capability to block the broadcast. The government has control over the television broadcast systems. They don’t have control over iPhones though. So that’s the difference.

I can confirm apple is trying to block it. Read 14.3 update info page
I read the info page and didn't see where they confirmed this.
I can imagine they'll try and be designated as enemy combatants. That would be funny.
ISP's have the ability to basically give you a pop up on your web browser. Guessing EBS can alert any computer browsing the web too
