Feeling like Jonah “preaching to Nineveh” is a rational response to this time. God is letting some people off the hook who were stupidly misled or sinners who repent. But God’s mercy is His to show. We can be pissed like Jonah that God shows mercy on those who we think are heinous fiends. Frankly part of me would be happier if Nineveh burned too... but God still has to be Himself and offer repentance as a choice even if we don’t necessarily like that.
To the unrepentantly evil, however, His mercy won’t be shown at all because they don’t want salvation and attack everything that offers it as Christ does.
