Could be unrelated but the timing is interesting (poster there stating the attacks started Jan 6th).

All onion v3 sites affected, could these include child porn, deep state sites etc? Whos behind the attacks?

A lot of places use onion sites though. Even facebook had one.

It was said though, a while back I believe, that the TOR team had become #WOKE... so if they're compromised, it'd be not unexpected tbh.
