I think one plausible route is a major delcas causing a temporary military takeover of the government where Trump "steps down" while the military arbitrates the election and makes arrests.

Obviously on the 17th at 11:11PM after Trump gives the "Storm is upon us" message. The first arrest will be Michael Obama. Turns out Michael wore the pants.
