what's the usual average number of military aircraft flying in the US during the week ?
According to MilSpecOps Monkey / Monkey Werx US, the typical # of USA military aircraft flying M-F during daytime hours in each time zone is around 250 that are VISIBLE on radar. He says MANY more aircraft that are airborne are NOT transponding/squawking (so those won't show up on publicly accessible radar), and as a standard protocol, they go dark when their missions are 'active' too.
ok earlier today it got close to 500
