Listen to the speech. He was clearly sending them a message. He spoke of their founding and their history and told them to knock off the woke bullshit. Furthermore he went there in person to make sure it was clear. There was more to this than meets the eye and I’m sure plenty was said off camera in private. He went there to take it back and weed out anyone not on board.
I did listen to the speech and accept what you're saying. The thing that's bothered me the most about him is his frequent voicing of Russian interference. That being said, I don't think Trump would keep him in such a critical position at this point if he didn't believe Pompeo could be trusted. As far as the VOA, they do air in numerous languages which would be helpful at this point.
Yeah the Russian thing was strange as well as the Ukrainian sanctions that were placed earlier with ties to Russia. The plot thickens.....
