Considering nothing can stop whats coming, I would say... fire up the popcorn and hold on.

My wife asked me why I watch cartoons/fluff one minute and then blood, guts, and gore the next. I told her, sometimes you just want to see the bad guys get f**ked up. Enjoy the show.
