I believe the mark of the beast on the head is when you believe in a false god/false savior. It is in your mind not a tattoo. And I believe the mark on your hand is when you do work for that false prophet/savior be it spreading the wrong message or physical labor whatever. The mark on the hand is doing the work of the false prophet/savior/god.
