Is this another one of those Lyndon Larouche was right moments? I can't believable.
Quick gist, LL had been talking about small, suitcase sized reactors replacing the electric grid years ago. Said the tech existed to power everyone's everything for about $20 a year in fuel, and somehow the rigs weren't all that expensive to make.
Said the tech was suppressed by big energy.
Of course he was dismissed as a crackpot.
I'm not a physicist, can't remember the explanation of why this was such a radically different type of nuclear power. It was something to do with fission vs fusion and the sheilding requirements. Whatever the ones we have now are these little ones were the other.
Moral of the story, this tech(and probably much more) likely already does exist. Spaceforce is the vector of release of the tech. This feels huge.
I'll try to find sauce and follow up in a while.

I'm sure government knows about and is actively researching/developing tech we cant even imagine. If im not mistaken, didnt they shut down nikola tesla when he discovered free energy? Or was that whole thing proven to be a myth?
I haven't seen proof it's false.
I fully expect space force to "discover" quite alot rather quickly because it's easier for the public to swallow a new discovery than explain why such miracles have been held back so long.
I'm inclined to believe star trek shit is out there already, and I can't wait to see it.
Anyone else ever dig into what's known as the Nazi Bell? It was a luftwaffe anti gravitational engine they tried to develop back in the war.
Why do you think they used operation paperclip to get all those scientists into the US?
Maybe. Maybe not. I guess we'll find out soon enough.
