What do you guys think of the speeches? Pompeo and Trump

They sounded like business as usual speeches. Like speeches you give in the middle of your term. Not really goodbye speeches and no talk of election. Just boring normal speeches. What are your thoughts?

They are a distraction. The enemy looks there and stops looking somewhere else. Meant to calm us and to allow Trump to continue to call for peace.
