I just got a call from one of my oldest friends (20+ years). He works for the DOD and just receive a signed letter by all DOD figureheads stating Biden will be inaugurated on January 20th. He's not a high level person (that I'm aware of) and said everyone who works for the DOD received the letter.
- is it normal to send a letter like this DOD-wide before each inauguration?
- is a sign of the end or a distraction?
Edit: sounds like the letters are not normal. It's been a shit show of an election, so there's that, but the more I think about it, what better way to convince normies that the inauguration is on and legit than to send out a letter.
It's a sign of nothing.
All should appear normal so just keeping that going would mean that... yada, yada, yada.
That's kind of what I was thinking. I'm hoping someone with some time in at the DOD sees this and can confirm this type of letter is SOP every four years.
I have worked for the DOD during presidential transitions and I do not remember receiving specific emails informing us who won and to accept it.
Huh.. I guess everything is a tad out of whack this year so maybe some false reassurance is warranted. Appreciate the response!
If it is or if it is not SOP it will be of trivial value to anyone that does not know, and maybe even those that do know.
That checks out.
I think Pompeo's tweets with what is going on are more telling than anything else right now.
I love this movie!
Why don't you ask your friend if this is normal? HE works for the DOD.
He wasn't working for them during the last election and I was the first person he called. His office is working from home due to the Chynah virus. He's going to ask and let me know but in the meantime, here I am...
Cool. Keep us posted, pede!
I edited my post with this info but sounds like the letters are not normal. It's been a shit show of an election, so there's that, but the more I think about it, what better way to convince normies that the inauguration is on and legit than to send out a letter. My hopes aren't up. We've come too far to turn back now!!!
They should be up, and the popcorn should be ready. ;)
The letter was from Joint Chiefs of Staff, it's all over twitter. They have no executive power though.
Copy. Thanks!
It's a sign of bullshit. Piss off.
What? I'm relaying what my buddy told me as I understood it. If I'm wrong then I'm wrong but I'm not a shill and you can fuck right off about me bein a liar. My buddy's assumption was everyone got a letter because he's basically a no one and got one. Did millions of letters go out? How the fuck would I know?
