Yesterday Pompeo tweeted he is looking forward to his trip on the 13th-14th. Now today the Stare Department released a statement canceling all State Department travel this week to prepare for the transition. That seems odd to me. Why would the trips be scheduled during this week to begin with? It’s not as if the inauguration was supposed to be on a different date. What happened between yesterday and today that would prompt travel to be canceled? More optics to go along with today’s theme that Biden will be inaugurated?

Maybe it was sending out a signal for the 13th-14th. Nothing is as it appears..
I suspect those "dates" mentioned by Pompeo are days for us to watch closely.
According to Reuters he was snubbed. He was scheduled to go to multiple countries, one of them being Luxembourg, but they declined not long ago. Only Belgium remained, but they backed off in the last minute.
