“Last week, I did not yield to pressure to exert power beyond my constitutional authority to determine the outcome of the election, and I will not now yield to efforts in the House of Representatives to play political games at a time so serious in the life of our Nation.”

Ok, this line, in particular, has me scratching my head. Is this a way for Pence to tell us that he’s attempting to appear neutral. He wasn’t pressured by the President nor will he be by Pelosi. Was the trap set on the 6th? Pence is actually a good guy? I’m still 50/50 on him.
