Trump specifically said during his speech on the 6th, that if pence went their way (the swamps way) it would be the hard way. Trump’s way would be the easy way (for Pence). Pence is probably just doing a little CYA for himself.

When Trump said that initially he confused me. But I was also undressed for DC and freezing my fucking ass off after standing there since 4:30 AM. Didn’t really get it till later when I watched the video of it and listened a little more closely.
