I think the problems most people have with God is we get this distorted view of him. The bibles we read today have so many miss translations in there. So Hebrews believed when you wrote it should be literal and symbolic, the Greeks didn't. So they translated the bible to Greek, then the King James was translated from Greek. That alone changes so much of the bible. I could go on for hours and hours about how the translations TRY to take God out of our lives. These people are sick. if you think that's wild, look into the Sumerian cuneiform tablets. it's essentially the earliest surviving version of the "bible" on the planet.
the stories have changed over the milenia, but the messages were.... close... they kinda edited out that whole part about the aliens tho....
