So, in one of Trumps rallies (year or so ago, I believe one of the ones where Brad Parscale spoke before him) Trump said they’re working on technology to bypass media so he could speak directly to the people. I always figured that was the team trump app which wasn’t so great, or maybe SMS (both of course require user action so not ALL people...but this would tie up that loose end. I think it was summer of 2019. I’ll dig thru rsbn archives and post sauce if I can find it.

I vividly remember Parscale talking about that on the news, and then waiting waiting waiting for something...but it never came. No joke I was thinking about this when Twitter started banning everyone thinking "Thanks for nothing Pascale." lol! I like your take on it, maybe we just haven't seen it yet and it's bigger than we thought
