This could be Hopium however. They started by saying 6k Nat Guard right? I was just thinking if they brought in 10th Mountain Division like we would like to see; that would do it. A division is 10 to 15K

Searching for old news articles, 2012 supposedly had 6000 NG and 2016 had 8000 NG. At face value, 2X margin after a make-believe insurrection all things being equal doesn't seem unreasonable. For what's supposed to be a "virtual" event, though, it does seem rather odd indeed.
