I would agree to a link inside the post instead of linking in the title. That way we can each choose if it's important enough to us to give them traffic.
I know it shows the domain but that doesn't mean I want to go to twatter to see the tweet, a screenshot and link is a fine change if you ask me, nothing is removed.

Another argument for this that I can think of is it may help reduce misinformation because most trolls aren't going to want to go through the hassle of that. Do you know if there is a way to monitor/modify trackers for mobile browsers? That is the main reason I brought it up as hopping between GA and twatter can get rather annoying.
Or post the screenshot and add the link in the comments or body of the post perhaps?

It's not just about the traffic... Every link embeds a tracker on the website... I've turned mine off but most people haven't

Yeah, I use ghostery pluggin to track them. It allows you to block them, or even randomize some of them.
Only thing is it removes the tweet altogether. So you cant see the tweets at all.

I'm sure I am not alone with that sentiment though, it is merely a suggestion and is not geared towards trackers, but ease of use.
