Specifically, there is a narrative going around and that I've heard from people who are not Trump-haters but who are believing that he caused an insurrection and something should be done about it.

The narrative is that Trump gave a speech, told his supporters to go to the Capitol Building, and THEN watched the mayhem on a TV monitor from inside the tent. They think he was callous in doing so.

But there is a problem with that narrative. He was in the tent BEFORE the speech, not after. And the events that occurred at the Capitol Building were BEFORE the speech, not after.

In this video that FatesWebb posted, which I had seen but not dissected, we see the following:

(1) At the beginning, the song "Gloria" starts, and Don Trump Jr. shows the people in the tent. Trump is watching the crowds on the TV monitors.

(2) At 0:12, Trump, Jr. says, "Guys, we're getting ready to go out there." GETTING READY to go out there. This was BEFORE the speech, not after.

(3) At 2:05, Trump is watching the monitors. Look at the left monitor. It has multiple camera views. Look at the upper right view. In the lower left of that screen, you seen an ambulance pulling up.

The ambulance was pulling up because the FF was over. Remember, Congress assumed Trump would start his speech much earlier than he did. He delayed it for some reason ...
