Stumbled upon Esoteric stuff. What are some thoughts on this stuff from a Christian pov?

I'm a revelations believer and wanted to know how people feel about watching podcasts where they're talking about esoteric stuff. I would be hardline about it, any spirituality besides Christ would be a distraction, but I recognize God in all things. How do you guys feel about esoteric stuff and venusians and all that?
