normal winter season in Wyoming consists of 40 to 60 mph winds. 60 used to be the high end up gusts.

this season started off with 60 to 80mph winds and hasn't really let up. whenever it goes over 80mph you'll see 100+ mph wind bursts.

I drove through Wyoming once with 70mph gusts. Would not recommend
