Let's remember the story of Noah and the ark (Genesis 6)
Nearly the entire world laughed at him.
Noah was a good man, an upright man among his contemporaries, and he walked with God.
God saw that the earth was corrupt and full of lawlessness.
God said to Noah, 'I have decided that the end has come for all living things, for the earth is full of lawlessness because of human beings. So I am now about to destroy them and the earth.
Make yourself an ark out of resinous wood. For my part I am going to send the flood, the waters, on earth, to destroy all living things having the breath of life under heaven; everything on earth is to perish.
But with you I shall establish my covenant and you & your family will go aboard the ark.
Noah did exactly as God commanded him.
If nothing else happens, at least 2 of the men I work with Have recently returned to God and both have told me about things that God has done for them as they began to pray to him for help again. Both give God the glory for the good in their lives again. This is where the real freedom exist, in God. Where the spirit of the Lord is there is liberty.
Respectfully, nor does the Bible mention Scripture Alone; that if it isn't written in the Bible then it can't be true. (sola scriptura)
The Bible doesn't mention the concept of Holy Trinity, the Rapture, alter calls, consecration of grape juice, personal relationship with Jesus Christ and several others.
As Christians and believers in One God, we are called to use faith and reason in the world in which we live. If we don't then we can be lead to believe almost anything. The millions of sheep following the MSM are examples of not using logic and reason. The lack of faith in those people is a conversation for another time.
I just find it interesting hearing the flood story many times and it was always taught that people were laughing but when the rains started they begged to get in. Then I read the Bible for myself and none of that was in there. And the majority of the animals were brought in by sevens not by pairs.
Sure we can speculate but it's much different than the rapture or the Trinity. Those you can easily piece together by comparing scripture with scripture.
Bottom line, man has done what he does best when it comes to distorting the Word of God.

The Bible never says or even implies that the world laughed at Noah.
