I dug into this last night, almost forgot. Googled FNA ([F]ake [N]ews [A]wards), it turned up FOCUS News Agency: FOCUS News Agency is a Bulgarian 24hr news company that has operated since 2000. They are a large syndicated corporation. Here is a link to their "partners" page: http://www.focus-news.net/static5/partniori/ Partnered with a lot of EU news agencies, and notably China's Xinhua.
