That is because nothing is broken. If you look at the JavaScript, the deport link action is set to "blocked". This is not a bug. They deliberately disabled the deport functionality and are now trying to appease people by saying something is broken and they are working on a "fix".

The mods are compromised - controlled opposition, or whatever. I am already looking for other sites...
