Check the trailer, and note it was 27 years ago.
Dave is about a look a like brought in to replace the president since he had had a stroke messing with a hooker and Dave takes the role seriously and goes up against a Cheney type guy.
Excellent flick, a bit corny in parts but what the hell :-))
