I’m sure it’s been a back and forth war for decades. Atm, with Patriots in control, probably have more good than bad.

As bad as the marvel universe is, an internal take over of an organization could easily look like that. You end up not knowing who to trust, bad actors have the advantage. Very possible it will continue on as long as the organization exists.
