I think it was to show the amount of force we have (not in a violent way) to the elite as well to ourselves. I don’t think he thought for one moment that we would act violently and we didn’t. Another thought is that he knew the DS would attempt something nefarious and wanted to grab the moment for proof. He knew there would be DS players trying to set up MAGA. It’s all coming out now. He encouraged MAGA to be peaceful and peacefully express their support. A few MAGA got caught up but very few. We can’t control what everyone does. We are not robots unlike what the left wants everyone to be.
