For some time now a big scandal is being unfolded about the dutch IRS. Here in The Netherlands if both parents have jobs you can get subsidies for child day care. Some algorithm falsely declared that some people with 2 nationalities had been involved with fraud on this subsidy. These people had to pay everything back everything with a fine on top of it. These people lost everything, Their house their jobs etc. They got ruined. Even a suicide happened.

This has been going on for years and our government knew of it had tried to sweep it under the carpet. Our House of Representatives found out about it and that's why they are thinking of stepping down. But because of the emergency situation with covid they hesitate do it...
