In the event that Q archival sites are brought offline, I have created a backup archive that runs from a server that I have physical possession of. Please feel free to share amongst friends, but do not repost this link to other boards, including TDW - I simply do not have the resources to handle the traffic.Thank you to u/anewpede for helping me work out some technical difficulties.

The web server is currently connected through a dynamic IP and must use a DDNS service to resolve. I am in the process of requesting a static IP from my internet provider - if they approve this request and grant a static ip, I will consider posting it here and on the site once I have had the time to research any potential security issues this may result in.
Just have a firewall and only open up port 80 (and any ports you may need for remote access if you’re going that route)
Ports 80 and 443 are already open to serve this site. The issue now is that the IP changes any time my modem is power cycled. A small piece of code resides on my router that sends a notification to my DNS provider any time that the address changes. The DNS provider then updates the ip record That the domain points to. I could share the IP, but it won’t stay the same.
Yes, running a robust firewall on EdgeOS. I spent a lot of time doing security checks before sharing a link to my personal machine.
