Should we just not make new posts anymore and post comments here instead?
Hi anon, great question. We of course welcome posts, but posts should be high-quality, high-caliber information, news, research, etc. This is already part of the Rules listed in our sidebar; however, we realize that without having somewhere else to direct folks to, it's understandable that they would want to chat about their ideas and thoughts somewhere! Hence, this thread. Our main goal here is to keep the community clean and un-cluttered, and make sure that the awesomest and/or important content is easy to find.
That said, here's a couple examples of posts on the front page that would probably be better served as comments in the daily thread, imho:

some people I think put their opinions as a post and it can create spam. Since this will be on the mainline, I think it will be better so that the urgent q decoders can post something and can be seen instantly
If it's a basic question like "Is Austin Streinbart a larp?" or "Is Alex Jones a doomer?" probably better to just ask here than make a post about it.
So like low effort stuff that's only a sentence long should be kept here IMO.
