Thanks! I’m sorry your cat is a bossy pants. I don’t hate them but my dog is really good helping with anxiety and I doubt a cat would have much compassion. I hear them- “YOU there-yes, you! Get your shit together!” Lol
I do have plenty of supplies but thanks.
That is seriously amazing what you did! Wow! Kudos for stopping drinking as well.
I feed the local crows. They get raw peanuts every morning and they come same time, every day. They watch me whenever I’m outside and stopped shrieking at me now and just make guttural noises and tap on things. They are highly intelligent birds and in general, people don’t understand them but they remember good vs bad people and actually use tools. Haha did you know a group of crows is called a “murder?” I don’t believe they bring bad omens. I believe they bring hope and amazing problem solving abilities. When you see them up close, they’re beautiful. Anyway, I’m a huge bird fan. When I was active duty, sometimes they were all we had to count on.
I know it’s hard to come to terms with the brutality we observe in other animals but we’re blind to our own. Coincidently, cats consume millions of bird hatchlings and eggs every year. It’s nature. We eat cows, pigs, sheep, fish etc and kill each other in war. It’s all brutal. It’s life. People forget to listen to the messages birds give us. I love hearing them “text” each other. We have a lot of hawks in my area and the crows “texting” about it is fascinating. Or silence... why is it so quiet, you have to ask.
I watch an eagle nest cam that is in Ft Myers, Fl. Harriet and M16 currently with eggs to hatch early January. They’ve been attacked 3 nights in a row by Great Horned Owl(s) and the message isn’t lost on me. I see a lot of symbolism in it. I know they’re just a couple of eagles but eagles signify freedom in this great country.
