All people are born with FREE WILL, they have their own mind and, even if physically confined, can choose their thoughts.
When a human being is born unto this earth to suggest that some immutable character that cloaks them, in anyway determines who they will be, is asinine.
There are good people and bad people, and that can only be based on the CHOICES they make.
To see a common thread between bad people and good people and identify that as the cause of the bad is the height of ignorance. Life isn’t that simple.
It’s far more challenging to look at the bad and acknowledge that they are just a person who has chosen hate. I understand that when you say that the world gets scarier, because ANYONE could be a bad person, that is why we must be brave.
Fear is not a good enough reason to imply a person who happens to have a race, gender, ethnicity or origin has a certain character BECAUSE of that.
We don’t need scape goats. We need people to be brave enough and thoughtful enough to see every single human being as valuable and important and judge them based on who they are, their choices, behavior and character.
I believe most people are good. Sure, there are some bad ones (& we’re about to be freed from the clutches of a whole bunch), but the only way we can do better moving forward is to start from a place of knowing we, everyone, gets to be who they want to be, and who they choose to be is the only thing that can be said to be good or bad.

Nice post - good reminder.
Along those lines, something I've noticed in my years of research - the cabal is quite effective at recruiting well-intentioned people who don't see how their "good" will be used for "bad" down the line.
