Am I missing it, or is something missing?

In the intensive, overpowering preparations in DC, I have not seen any sonic or microwave area denial weapons deployed. Would that not be the 21st century version of fire hoses in a massive crowd control operation?

Yeah, reportedly some of them do realize it... I assume they are now frantically trying to think of an excuse not to show up in person...
