I'm far from a plane expert (but have dabbled my whole life and many family members pilots and military). Whatever is going on in that area is not normal.

B52s scrambled from S. Dakota to that area after the P8 did that pattern - 2 days in a row.

Something is amiss.

Agreed, troop movement actually started in late November and early December, I think they just hit overdrive in the last two weeks.
